		<description>The purpose of Adventist education could not be more accurately said, even with twice as many words. Adventist distinctives are not something in addition to curriculum requirements. Why spend the extra cost if the limited goals of secular education, useful as they surely are, are all the diploma stands for? The most central of Adventist distinctives is to prepare our youth (and their teachers) to be translated. Not keeping that in focus is to miss the point of being an Adventist.
